Our 2018 Halloween outreach event is over and we saw great results. Here is a glimpse of the impact we were able to have on our community at Marvelous Halloween…

Hi Friends,

Everyone has come and gone, and I’m at my desk thinking about tonight.  I’m truly blessed to be a part of a church that comes together to reach its community!!!

Tonight, here’s who we reached:

115 children from bed babies through 6th grade

76 Non-Trace Ridge Parents were here tonight

80 Trace Ridge Members were present

TOTAL OUTREACH TONIGHT:  271

Numbers aren’t THE most important thing, BUT, they tell the story.  Tonight, a large number of members at Trace Ridge dressed in costume, led games, brought candy, spent money to decorate, gave of their time, served in the kitchen, monitored the parking lots, and helped people through our buildings.  Youth and Adults worked together to share the love of Jesus with our community and it showed!!!

I had many conversations with guests tonight that were so appreciative of all that you did to make tonight special for their children, and many of them said they were treated with love.  Lots of them also are without a church home and now know about what goes on here for families on the weekend and during the week.  That was possible because of YOUR SELFLESS GIVING of your time, energy, and efforts.

Last, but not least, the smiles on the children’s faces were priceless.  In a day where there is so much divisiveness, tonight was truly a picture of heaven.  All of God’s boys and girls of all ethnicities being loved on by God’s disciples.  Thank you for loving the children.

Please join me in prayer that the Lord would draw these families to Himself, whether it be here at TRBC, or if these conversations tonight lead them to another church, we’re ok with that too.  Also, pray for me as I follow up with these children and their families.  I want to help the parents as they parent and build relationships so that they know where they can go for guidance, ultimately to the Lord.

Thank you all!

Larry
