As you have been following Jesus from home during our “safer at home” days, what resources or practices have been an encouragement to your walk with God?
Dawson Trotman, founder of the Navigators, developed a “Disciple’s Wheel” illustration to aid recently converted sailors in their walk with God. The four spokes on the wheel formed a “cross.” The four spokes were Prayer and the Word (vertical spokes) as well as Fellowship and Witness (horizontal spokes).
Of those four essential to spiritual maturity, which ones are most satisfying to you at this point in your spiritual journey?
Which ones are most challenging for you at this point in your spiritual journey?
When someone asks you to pray for them, what do you find yourself asking for most frequently?
Read Ephesians 3:14-21.
Paul made two petitions on behalf of the new believers at Ephesus. First, that they may dwell (be at home) in God’s Presence. Second, that they may comprehend the love of God.
Think about someone you have been praying for. If you received an affirmative answer for theses two petitions for their life, what difference would it make for them? What difference would it make in how you view their situation?
